«Between Life and Death»
“Between Life and Death” in Spanish “Entre la Vida y la Muerte” is my best painting created when I went to high school back in 2014 for the Art and Visual Communication II subject. The exercise consisted of synthesizing shapes to create something cubist. To make this work I decomposed a heart, fire, and human skeleton.
Painted with acrylics on wood in a traditional way, on this occasion I did a vector remastering with Adobe Illustrator, a way to remember my beginnings as an artist.
This painting represents the two sides, life represented as the inside of a human body, and the world of the dead represented with the absence of color and skeletal. The fire at the center represents the soul, which is held by the heart and the skeleton, hence the name of this work.
“Entre la Vida y la Muerte”
“Entre la Vida y la Muerte” es mi mejor cuadro creado cuando iba al instituto en el año 2014 para la materia Arte y Comunicación Visual II. El ejercicio consistía en sintetizar formas para crear algo cubista. Para hacer esta obra descompuse un corazón, fuego, y esqueleto humano.
Pintado con acrílicos sobre madera de manera tradicional, en esta ocasión hice una remasterización de manera vectorial con Adobe Illustrator, una manera de recordar mis comienzos como artista.
Este cuadro representa los dos lados, la vida representada como el interior de un cuerpo humano, y el mundo de los muertos representado con la ausencia de color y esquelético. El fuego del centro representa el alma, que esta agarrada por el corazón y el esqueleto, de ahí el nombre de esta obra.
